Considering my last journal was from 2007, I figured it's about time for a new entry... now I have one from 2005, 2007, and 2009. The next will be in 2011, if I keep up this pattern!!

I'm alive, and doing well, for all those who care to know. Busy with college-- actually sitting in Wayne State's science & engineering library as I type this. 2009 is a new year for me, dealing with things I haven't really dealt with too well in years past, which is both different and nice and hard at the same time.

I've totally been lacking in the art department in the past year and a half. I've only done two pieces since the start of '09, my painting and the nip/tuck eye I just posted up. The painting would have never came to be if it wasn't for this REMARKABLE woman I met in January, who has since become a close friend in such a short amount of time. She was that random note of inspiration I think I needed to get back on the creative train that I somehow managed to roll off of last year. The n/t eye just sort of happened-- this season was wonderful (so fell in love with Teddie Lowe, she's so flipping crazy I love it) and the theme song comes up on my iPod all the time with that album cover, so I gave in and drew it.


Anywho, for any who are actually reading this, thanks!! I'll try to post more artwork up soon, though much won't be happening until the semester ends in a few weeks. And of course, expect all my work to be of random things using random mediums-- I'm a mad scientist, I love to experiment
